If tonight's NCIS: Los Angeles doesn't hold my interest, I think I'm done.

Re: NCIS: "Good Cop, Bad Cop" and NCIS: L.A. "Search and Destroy" 10/1

NCIS was excellent tonight. I'm so glad we got the backstory on what happened to Ziva.

I won't be rating NCIS: LA because I've decided to stop suffering needlessly ... so I'm now watching "Aladdin" on the Disney Channel.

NCIS was excellent tonight. I'm so glad we got the backstory on what happened to Ziva.

The back story was good, but three things stood out to me. One, Gibbs and Vance are working well together, that director/lead investigator relationship is building - Good.
Two, Tony and Mcgee are playing on a whole new interaction level now. It's more like two older brothers, where the oldest has moved past the simple picking on the little one and they are now equals - Good.
Three, now Ziva is the probie, and not above McGee.

So whats the deal with LL cool J and Agent Bly's Eyes. Each one has their right eye all black and blue. And it doesnt look like makeup. Was there some accident on-set where they were injured?

Re: NCIS: "Good Cop, Bad Cop" and NCIS: L.A. "Search and Destroy" 10/1

I thought this week's NCIS was a lot better than last week's episode by a mile! Three things that I enjoyed:
1) the backstory on Ziva-NOW we know the who, what, when, and why on what happened to her during those times.
2) Tony and McGhee picking at each other-that's freaking hilarious! :) And of course, Tony's wittiness..he's so adorable! *sigh*
3) I'm sort of liking the director a bit more in this episode..and I usually think he's a jerk!

NCIS was great this week. When Gibbs went into the interrogation room he kicked so much ass.

Re: NCIS: "Good Cop, Bad Cop" and NCIS: L.A. "Search and Destroy" 10/1

I don't know why but NCIS just doesn't interest me much anymore. I just can't seem to get into it lately like I used to. There was once a time when NCIS was must see TV for me and now I can barely make it ten minutes.

Re: NCIS: "Good Cop, Bad Cop" and NCIS: L.A. "Search and Destroy" 10/1

Because nothing really happens, so if you don't enjoy the characters (ugh, Ziva), then that's how it is.

Re: NCIS: "Good Cop, Bad Cop" and NCIS: L.A. "Search and Destroy" 10/1

^ What's strange is I still like the characters, which is odd to me.

Probably just too much NCIS exposure.

I didn't notice anything with LL Cool J's eye, but Daniela Ruah's right eye looks that way naturally. It's some kind of birth mark or something.

Well, then it's because nothing really happens... except the secret agent stuff.
Which is odd, because NCIS LA is basically the same thing but everyone seems to hate it.

As for this week's NCIS episode. Blah Ziva. But I suppose this is a reboot of sorts, since the Mossad stuff will probably only appear again when the generic season cliffhanger happens.
I find it kind of stupid that everyone speaks English. I know that it's just because Americans don't like to read subtitles, but having hardcore Mossad agents yell at each other in English while in Somalia looks stupid. It just seems like what Americans would do if they were inadvertently drawing attention to themselves.

I'm just hoping that this is the end of all the silliness though and that they can go back to solving crimes.

Tonight's NCIS episode was Excellent, but it loses a point for being Ziva-centric (never a good thing). Tonight's NCIS LA was Average, but it gets a bonus point for the Star Trek reference. That means both shows get an Above Average this week. :techman:

I didn't bother watching... what was the Trek reference?

NCIS - I really enjoyed this week’s show, I wasn’t sure just what was going to happen till the end. "Here you go probie"

As for LA, I've yet been able to watch an episode past 10 minutes. I don't think it will make it past 1/2 season marl.

Actually, you're mistaken about this. It's getting the best ratings of any new series this season:

If the question, "Haven't I seen this somewhere before?" echoes in the back of your mind, chances are you might be watching CBS, which seems to be making a concerted effort to maintain sizable audiences for its schedule by building programs with concepts its viewers already find familiar. "NCIS: LA," a West Coast tweak on the original "NCIS" that centers on the premise above, appears to be the most-watched freshman program of the infant 2009-2010 season.

For the week ending Oct. 4, about 17.4 million people watched the program, according to Nielsen; the only drama that topped it was its predecessor, "NCIS," which was the most-watched broadcast show of the week (NBC's "Sunday Night Football" is the only thing that kept the L.A.-centered spin-off from taking second place among viewers, though ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" had a higher household rating than the new show).

Re: NCIS: "Good Cop, Bad Cop" and NCIS: L.A. "Search and Destroy" 10/1

This was a good episode. Ziva wanted to become an NCIS agent. But one thing stood in her way... a Mussad agent, sent by her 'dear' father to bring her back home. I figured he'd be angry about the e-mail she'd sent him. Boy are things going to get that much more interesting there.

Back to the episode... a Marine had been killed onboard a ship... and Ziva was under suspicion. The Mussad agent tried to pin blame on Ziva, but in the end -- it was himself who killed the man... and not her.

Ziva was free and clear for now -- and Vance let her become an agent :techman:. And her dad wasn't thrilled at all by the news :D... he blatantly threatened Vance 'that it wasn't over' in terms of things there. Guess somebody has some issues there :alienblush:...

So like I said before, things look like they'll be that much more interesting when it comes down to this situation. I figure that he'll do his best to make things much more of a hassle in terms of international relations for starters.

As for the ending -- I loved it... :adore: Ziva got called 'Probie' by Gibbs... and she grinned at him. So now that she's the newbie -- What will Mcgee be called?

Overall this week's episode was a good one. Hopefully next week's will be just as good.

Re: NCIS: "Good Cop, Bad Cop" and NCIS: L.A. "Search and Destroy" 10/1

I'm just continually impressed how, starting with last season, NCIS has surged in the ratings to become a Top 10 show, if not in the Top 5 or #1. I think that's awesome. It's bacially been the same show since the beginning, so I wonder why the "sudden" popularity.
