To close out this thread, I thought I might mention this: The MLB Store has informed me that since the 2010 WS was only five games, the remaining discs in the DVD collection (which I preordered two months ago, before we knew who would be in it  ) will be Games 4 and 6 of the NLCS.

Oh and the 2010 WS will be out on DVD in about a month. December 14th for the entire series, the 7th for the Highlight Film.

That's what MLB.com and Youtube is for. I'll save my hard earned money and watch the highlights a few years down the road on ESPN.

Go the the local news media sites for Seattle, like the Seattle Times. They just have a short story up right now, but obviously it'll get longer in a few hours.

I grew up listening to Dave call the Mariners games on the radio. One of the last great voices of baseball. It won't be the same without him.

The greatest moment in Mariners history is remembered just as much for Dave's call as it is for Edgar's hit and Griffey's slide.

Good thing I'm not a Marlins fan, because how the hell can you explain/justify the trade of Dan Uggla to Atlanta? Not because they traded him -- because that's what everyone's come to expect of such a second-rate front office -- but who they got in return. Omar Infante? Will the commercials for the 2011 season boast about ALL-STAR Omar Infante being in the lineup?
