Contest: ENTER Misc. Avatar Contest: July is Disability Pride Month

Looking up observances in July, I'm delighted to learn that July is indeed Disability Pride Month, rooted in the passing of the Americans with Disabilities Act by the US government in July 1990. Today, it is celebrated in several countries around the world.

So, this contest is all about celebrating people with disabilities, as people who - despite discrimmination past and present - have enriched the world and the lives of the people around them. Your avatar entries should present a famous (or historically notable) person with a disability, whether they be celebrities, scientists, artists, activists, politicians or otherwise notable.
And there are more than one would think. For instance, did you know actor Leslie Nielsen was legally deaf and relied on hearing aids for most of his life? Or that Jennifer Aniston has dyslexia?
Seriously, if you don't know if there will be enough notable people with disabilities to sustain this contest, just check Wikipedia's list of American actors with disabilities and consider that there are far more occupations and nationalities beyond that list.

As per usual, entries may not be larger than 200x200 pixels and/or 1 Mb data, and of course should remain safe for work. Also, no dramatized media, though documentary/journalistic media is fine, and in case of historical figures with no existing photographs, artist's renditions are also allowed.

Let's have up to three entries per user.

Also, please do identify the person in your entry by name, occupation (or what they are notable for), as well as their disability. Regardless of how famous you think the person is.

Also, as a sidenote, if you are yourself disabled or have a person close to you who is disabled, feel free to share. This may be an avatar contest, but it's also more generally a thread about Disability Pride.

Alan Rickman
Actor
In a true case of making ones disability into a positive, Rickman suffered from an abnormally tight jaw as a child, making it very hard for him to speak. As he grew up, this resulted in his distinctive voice.
