Yeah, I think they started back when Star Wars Celebration was going on. One of guests, I can't remember who now, backed out and a lot of people thought it was because he was to busy filming Doomsday to go to Japan.

No, he was there, and it was someone who wasn't announced in the livestream, but who people expect to be in it.

I could've sworn Anthony Mackie said they had already started filming last week or perhaps I'm misremembering what he said.

I got around to watching Black Window today. While it wasn't the greatest, I did enjoy it, and it could have been much worse. It had a great heart.

I actually thought Taskmaster's identity was a pretty good twist, and a nice way to make things more personal for Natahsa.

Yeah, I agree with this.

The strongest element of the film is Pugh, and I hope she keeps killing it in the role of Yelena. Yeah, she upstaged Johansson, no easy task! It's probably time to rewatch Hawkeye. I should probably also get around to finishing The Little Drummer Girl (2018), which I began but dropped when life intervened.

No. They were sterilizing women, no harvesting ovaries. And you don't need to the ovaries to create embryos, you just need the eggs.
Yea. I mean I could have seen the logic in them allowing their widows to reach puberty and then harvest some of their eggs and then sterilize them. Keeping the eggs while seeing how a widow develops and performs. If one is deemed to be a 'success' then they may decide to utilize their genetic material from their egg to birth another possible useable asset.

Part of the premise of Black Widow was that the girls were an endless resource that could be gotten from the world at large, trained at an attrition rate of 95%, and then, according to the final plan, mind-controlled to do whatever was needed to carry out Dreykov's evil plans. Reproduction by the Black Widows wasn't necessary according to that scheme, and offered, in Dreykov's view, only net downside. Dreykov had no problem ordering his assets to self-destruct. They were, according to his evil way of doing things, perfect the way they were, and on an individual level wholly expendable. The sole exception was arguably Taskmaster.
