This week's been very rough for us Trek fans with the passing of D.C. Fontana, Rene Auberjonois, and now Marina's husband 
May they all find peace in the Great Link beyond, LLAP!!

Plus Robert Walker Jr as well. This has not been a good week.

Yup. Shat is now 88 years young. Nichelle Nicholls is 86 and suffers from dementia. Takei and Koenig are in their early 80s. Shat looks very good for someone approaching his 90s, but sadly no one lives forever
Sir Patrick is the same age as Rene and will turn 80 next year. The rest of the TNG crew ranges from early 60s to early 70s.
Gates McFadden apparently just had a cancer surgery, as announced in her tweet (https://twitter.com/gates_mcfadden/status/1183446357131939840). She's 70 years young and still looks so alike Dr Crusher. I hope the surgeons got all the bad stuffs out from her system so she'll make a full recovery.
We'll see more of our favorite Trek cast members moving to the Great Link Across the Sky within the next 10 years or so. Better starts getting yourself prepared from now
