David A. McIntee has passed away.

Hello @James Swallow I saw this post whilst browsing the Internet this evening. I decided to create an account to share some information with you.

David and his wife are friends of mine. I didn't know him through this side, we were in the SCA together, so I actually knew him more under the name Wolfram

I wanted to let you all know the following and hope it reassures you. David died at home, surrounded by his wife, family and cats. Holding a sword and watching Dr who episodes.

He was cremated this afternoon, and there was a lovely service with various readings, stories and some renditions of pirate metal songs. Donations were made to cats protection and Harrogate hospital community charity.

Kind regards

In a hundred years someone somewhere will be reading his work. Probably a great many someones. That's a heck of a legacy, and it sounds like he made even more personal imprints on his friends and family too.
