But, I'd rather see his flashbacks.

Seconded. It would be cooler to see what happened with the Blackrock - it would cover what we saw beginning in last season's finale.

History is the same up until 1977, then everything changes.

From all that we know so far, yes, the divergence should occur due to the bomb.

Unless - the bomb doesn't cause the divergence, and is only a vehicle for the Losties to jump forward to the current island time. In which case, the Losties might still jump backward to whatever time for whatever activity is the planned plot climax. But that way is just unknowable until the creators reveal all. So, I'll stick with the 1977 idea.

So I think at this point, we might see an old Richard Alpert in the flash-sideways (in case he no longer remains ageless from 1977 onwards). Or maybe he will accept to be the protector of the island. And then *he* can remain ageless. (Cos Jacob also doesn't seem to age).

I voted Excellent. There were more revelations in this episode than in any other in the series, if I'm not mistaken.

One of the best episodes in the entire series, IMO. Nestor Carbonell is an incredible actor.

Agree. It's the turning point in the whole series. Answers! The four letter word revealed!

Holy Fuck this series is really coming to an end!

The six bonus minutes are going to consist of the Firefly chick in V doing her sales pitch for the 4,376th time during Lost this season.

Please...no more of her.

I hated her in Stargate and I hate seeing her in those commercials every ten seconds during Lost.

Unfortunately, I probably won't give V a chance because it has her.

Here's what "ab aeterno" really means...

from the eternal

Literally, "from the everlasting" or "from eternity". Thus, "from time immemorial", "since the beginning of time" or "from an infinitely remote time in the past". In theology, often indicates something, such as the universe, that was created outside of time.
