Looking for good Scotty books set after Relics?

Hi guys, I am new here, I have just read the book engines of destiny, which I really enjoyed, and am looking for more of Scotty in the 24th century, I have heard he is in SCE but is he a prominent character?

I also enjoyed "crossover", any other reccomendations for books in the 24th century featuring the TOS cast?

Well, the Shatner books definitely feature Scotty and books 2 to 9 are set with the surviving TOS characters living in the 24th century and interacting with our heroes there, especially the TNG ones.

Engines of Destiny features Scotty quite prominently (and it actually serves as an unofficial sequel to "Relics"), and during S.C.E., he's not on the ship or in every single book, but he's in a majority of them as their primary link to Starfleet (his actual title in the series is "Command Liaison to the Starfleet Corps of Engineers", making him the crew's de facto boss - think Admiral Ross during the last two seasons of DS9). He's also a major player in Indistinguishable form Magic.

If I remember correctly, Scotty was a major character in David McIntee's Indistinguishable from Magic. It mostly takes place aboard the USS Challenger when it was assigned to the SCE.
Yep, I loved Indistinguishable From Magic. It's the most Scotty-filled story in the novelverse set after "Relics". He has a Galaxy-class ship of weirdos and they go on adventures.

Crossover is probably the best one. Engines of Destiny is okay but Kirk felt out of character to me.
Indistinguishable from Magic is another book that features him prominently

The SCE novel "The Future Begins" (collected in the trade paperback "What's Past") takes a particular focus on Scotty, given that a lot of portrayals of Scotty after Relics, in both novels and comics, had gone in various directions that placed him in and out of the position as head of SCE, and being in a few odd and seemingly contradictory places. It includes a timeline of Scotty's life through much of the time frame from Relics to a point roughly equivalent to the end of Voyager that names individual stories that are referenced .

Indistiguishable from Magic by David Mcintee maybe a book you might like.Scotty and Geordi Laforge and Reginald Barclay are in it. It has an engineering mystery in it and alot of good character story developement for Scotty in the book and Guinan is in in it too.

Yeah I agree, Kirk was just kind of "there", I still enjoyed the book though. Crossover was a lot of fun, I'll try Indistinguishable from magic also.

I second the recommendations of:
---Crossover by Michael Jan Friedman
---Engines of Destiny by Gene De Weese
---Indistinguishable from Magic by David A. McIntee
---A Time for War, a Time for Peace by some hack with two initials
---Foundations by Dayton Ward & Kevin Dilmore
---The Future Begins by Steve Mollmann & Michael Schuster (in What's Past)
