'Legacy' guest starring Linda Hamilton

A huge improvement. Mulgrew was about as convincing as Patrick Stewart was in his fight scenes. Sorry, but those two would get their butts kicked in a fight against pretty much anyone in the universe. And it would be nice not to have to listen to Mulgrew's voice. ugh...like a cat scratching on a chalkboard.

Wasn't Linda Hamiltons voice also rather damaged by her smoking habit? Granted, from what I remember it's more scratchy rather than that weird gummy bear squeak Mulgrew has, but I'm not sure it would have been that much of an improvement.

Linda Hamilton would have been more convincing as a badass than Mulgrew. Nothing about Mulgrew ever made me feel that she could handle herself in any physical situation, yet there she was kicking everyone's butt every single time.

I would have loved to see Linda Hamilton on Star Trek, maybe even as Janeway. Mulgrew did a great job, but just imagine the same actress who was Sarah Connor also playing Kathryn Janeway, what kind of role model that would be. I think the last thing I saw Hamilton in was Dante's Peak.

... wonder if Paramount wouldve been more keen to do a Voyager movie insteaad of Nemesis had she been Captain?

Unless Hamilton brought huge ratings to VGR on UPN. Viewer numbers of DS9 were much lower than TNG, and VGR numbers were even lower than DS9.

Here is the dopplerganger guest star that throws me the most. In the TNG episode 'Sarek' guest stars this guy:

350

Hey it's Bruce Mcgill!! Captain Braxton, from Voyager and countless guest star roles of so may scifi and other series. Who does not recognize him right?

Well wrong .. this actors name is William Denis not Bruce McGill. https://memory-alpha.fandom.com/wiki/William_Denis

Oddly enough, when Sarek premiered in 1990 Bruce McGill, what quite a bit younger and was not as old as William . But as Bruce has aged through the past 30 years he has become even more of dead ringer for this guy. There voices are quite a bit different though.

He looked a lot like Bruce McGill and certainly not Everett like the people on Babylon 5 who made that error!!!
