News Kirk Douglas Dies, age 103

It occurred to me how Kirk could have killed in the role of Taylor in PLANET OF THE APES. Heston was superb there, but Douglas could have ramped it up five percent more.

Bite your tongue! Heston made that character unforgettable.

My mom, husband and I are really sad he died . So many fun movies to remember him by!

AFAIK, the Wood story seems based on nothing more than an anonymous blog (some suggest that the blogger behind it was Robert Downey Jr., bizarrely enough) in 2012, 32 years after her death. I’m supportive of #metoo and #ibelieveher but this one never struck me as a credible allegation, particularly as there’s no first-hand evidence of Wood making it. It’s perhaps also notable, if not conclusive, that virtually no other scandal has ever attached to Douglas during his long life.

My sister believes that he did this, and she even said that she was glad he was dead. I, of course, don't believe that he ever did this to Wood or anybody else.
