Cool does it show the locations of the cans?

Pretty neat, and it looks fairly accurate too -- except its officer/enlisted ratio doesn't seem to fit what we saw onscreen, where enlisted personnel were extremely rare.

We maybe got to see a tenth of the 1,012 crew members on board the Enterprise-D in the series.
Wasn't it Mike Okuda or Rick Sternbach that said we also only got to see a tenth of the ship itself, that there was a lot more unseen because of budget and time?
Funny story, I have this as well. My parents got it YEARS ago at a party they were at. One of the women at the party (I have NO clue how the topic came up) said she had this and really wanted to sell it. It turns out this person was the ex-girlfriend of the airbrush artist, Gary Richardson (I live in the same area as him it would seem).
So my parents gladly took this off her hands for their trekkie son, and it's even signed!
That's right.
"To Marilan, Love Gary".
I'm a dude named Mark.
Kinda funny, though. Still hangs over my bed.
This brings up a very interesting question; how many rooms did the Enterprise not use very often? Battle bridge for one...
Canadave;3454540 Did we ever actually see the Arboretum? If so said:In Dark Page IIRC.
So my girlfriend tends to keep an eye on what's available on FreeCycle here in town (an online community where people give away stuff they don't want) and she comes up with some gems on occasion. Today was such an occasion, as I came home from work to find a massive, framed cutaway poster of the D sitting on our couch. And I mean massive, this thing is probably about a metre wide, if not more.
It was drawn by Christopher Cushman, who—as far as I can tell—did at least a couple of licensed Enterprise posters back in the early 90s. This one seems to date to the show's fifth season.
Anyway, here are a few pictures (I hope 1024x798 is okay, you can't see much detail in Flickr's next smallest size):

Re: Just came into possession of an awesome 1701-D cutaway (pics warni
The ratio was given to me by the ST Art department… given that you can’t see the whole crew simultaneously I wonder how you could tell it’s off?
I noticed that too. Odd, considering that by S5 it was pretty well-established that enlisted personal were fairly rare. I think it's a more logical number, but you're right in that it doesn't fit what we've seen.
And yeah, the fact that it's framed makes it even better. That wouldn't be cheap for such a large poster.
Hello! I think recently you posted pics of your original version prior to Michael Okuda's suggested changes on either Facebook or Twitter, but the pics weren't high enough quality to make out the details. I'd love to see a high resolution photo of your original version if it's at all possible.Wonderful post happy to answer any questions about the Enterprise D… Happy to sign your poster as well! Christopher
