Jonah Hill looks pretty good on SG:U

Is it me or did Jonah Hill really lose a good deal of weight for SG:U? He even looks older. I look forward to his brand of comedy lightening up the mood on Universe...

Shanks isn't the one saying that in the trailer. David Blue utters those words. AND, unless you listen to the intonation, you'll think he's saying the team is not supposed to be on the Destiny, when, in fact, he is talking about something completely different.

Taken a look at Carlyle's resume lately? Television movies, TV guest spots, and roles in movies that bombed spectacularly, like Eragon. Lately he's been trying to get a sequel to Trainspotting made, no doubt to remind audiences of the only time he approached named-stardom in the late 1990s.

Stargate Universe will provide a nice, steady paycheck and star billing (likely at the top or the "and" credit) for an actor who has had better times. Which is not meant as a swipe against Carlyle--I think he's an excellent performer--but his career has just been hitting bump after bump lately and sometimes there's no stopping that.

Thats why I said he 'channels' Shanks voice, when first heard that line it sound just like shanks, later when I saw the 5 minute clip I saw it was David Blue.

I said it elsewhere - for the longest time I didn't know the difference between him and Seth Rogen, since Hill seems to either be in EVERY fucking film with Rogen or he is cast as the younger version of Rogen in the same films.

I guess the original idea for this thread was to comment about how much the guy who plays "Eli" looks an awful lot like a skinny Jonah Hill.
Maybe after a while they could cast Jonah Hill as Eli's brother in a flashback or something...
