Interview: Jeri Ryan and Jonathan Del Arco

7's human name was about as Norse as you can get short of Cnut Bloodrune or something like that, which makes the choice even more interesting.
Oh, that's a good point, I hadn't thought of that. Hopefully that's something they directly address. Jeri was coy about whether she's going by Seven or Annika and I really hope it's the latter.

Careful ... They're onto us! :eek:

Have they seen this board? :wtf:

Note to Self: Examine Seven's zipper pull more closely. :D

Trailers, like teasers and news articles, are released. What "drops", you might ask? Overhaed by a statue, pigeons will drop certain things but I really don't want to get more descriptive... :razz::guffaw: It's worse when today's slang also had to dip back in time to 1982 (eww, the 80s, gag me with a spoon) with embarrassing valleyspeak such as the first syllable to "merchandise" and the yokels yum it up.

Moon Unit Zappa could and should do a follow-up to "Valley Girl".

Oh wait, what are we supposed to be frothing on again? Oh yeah,per the article's direct transcript,
Seven sees Picard as a reason for the universal mess existing.
Okey dokey. It's not exacxtly surprising, it's like every franchise is sharing the same script near-verbatim nowadays.

But I'll also consider that
if she's supposed to be 20 years free of the Borg and the released teasers already showing her like a hispter normie and not a pseudo-Spock recovering from severe psychological trauma but she still believes the universe is a mess because she's not part of the perfect little Collective anymore? Then again, that may not be strictly true. She's improved but still has to fight - on both counts, preferably - the indoctrination she endured.

You and I both know she's not going to STAY that way:

The question is ... How does she go from "neo-hippie" to full-on Terminator? :wtf:

Anyone who dresses cool is lazily called a "hipster" by others these days. Whether they actually are one or not.

@Danja posting this .gif is getting added to the Trek BBS Drinking Game.

I'm looking forward to watching her fight. :)

After seeing her being held back on Voyager for four years :( , it'll be fun seeing her no holds barred.

Even in its imperfect, incomplete(?) form, it is a thing of beauty to behold. :luvlove:

I'm pretty sure any English profanity will come from her. Picard can say merde, but the Fs are for 7. XD

They'll be more likely to come from Rios.

IMHC, I have this image of him pacing back and forth in front of Seven, waving his cigar and screaming, "IT'S MY SHIP! IT'S MY %$!&ING SHIP!"

I also have this image of Seven's eyes darting back and forth as she's watching him (I love watching Jeri's eyes, they're so expressive :) ).

Seven is very much an aristocrat. I can't see her engaging in that sort of behavior.

She's hot $@%# and she full well knows it (that said, she's not above punching holes in people should the need arise).

ETA: Judging from the .gif, I'm wondering if Trek is color-coding their laser fire like Star Wars? :confused:

Blue = Good guys
Red = Bad guys
