How To Train Your Dragon: Race to the Edge

Netflix has finally announced their How To Train Your Dragon tv series. It will be called Race To The Edge. 13 Episodes will premiere in June.

Some pics from the series. This series is the reason I got Netflix, my sons are huge fans and I know they will love this. I guess this will be set before the events of the last movie.

So this is the continuation of the DreamWorks Dragons series that used to be on Cartoon Network? Just one more case of CN no longer being interested in smart, older-skewing adventure cartoons. Too bad Netflix wasn't able to save Young Justice and Green Lantern.

Anyway, these images confirm that they're aging up the characters to match the sequel. I wonder what the move to Netflix will mean for the show's content and its budget/production values.
