How many times.......

....the speed of light would Voyager be travelling at if it could travel 70,000 lightyears in 70 years?

Am I correct in asuming Voyager is travelling 1,000 times faster than the speed of light?

Theoretically.
If u stay with the show they never travel faster than the light, because it's physically impossible. It's the distance between the Voyager and the Earth which is shortened by the warpfield, so even if the starship itself travels slower than lightspeed, it appears to be faster from outside.

There is something I want to make sure about, a lot of people say voyager was catapulted 70,000 lightyears away but by my recollection it was 75,000 lightyears, can anyone confirm which it was?
If it was indeed 75,000 then Voyagers warp 7 was faster than 1000 times the speed of light leaving us with the conclusion that warp 9.975 must be far far faster therefore making it not unreasonable to assume the 7,000 lightyear stretch of Federation space could be traversed at warp 9.9 within just a few months making trips from say Bajor to Earth within months not unreasonable either, the fact Voyager would have taken so long to get home would simply be the fact that a full warp 9.975 would A) be a strain on the engines on such a long journey likely causing irrepairable damage and B) cause a drain on starship fuel which wouldnt be advisable as Voyager wouldn't know where to refuel so would need to conserve their deuterium, as we all know the faster you go the more fuel you burn.

Voyager on such a long journey would have to stick to a safe velocity of warp 7 in order to maintain the ships propulsion systems, as we've seen in plenty of episodes of even TNG Picard always says 'warp 7' unless there is an emergency therefore Voyagers 70 years journey time estimate must have been calculated for a normal warp 7 velocity.

Janeway did say that they were teleported 75000 light years away and said that it would take aproximatley 75 years to get home.

They already shaved a few 1000 light years off for their journey home.
