I take your point, An Officer, wild rats are disease ridden and often the quicker they are got rid of the better. I'd rather a quick stomp than, say, a glue trap, or poison, both of which are completely inhumane.
This particular rat was a) not in someone's house, and b) was subjected to torture prior to being trodden on. The person (a grown man...I say "man", I didn't see much humanity in him) was chasing it for quite some time, to the amusement of his friends. It was clearly terrified and didn't know where to run. He kicked it a few times. Eventually he stamped on it. Not on its head as an act of compassion. It was purely out of cruelty. He stomped on its abdomen, so it remained alive for several minutes. He then refused to put it out of its pain, and laughed at me when I told him what I thought of him.
That is why it was a particularly upsetting incident, especially as I keep rats as pets.![]()
Beat them back.

That's awful.
Beat them back.
I might break a nail. Tough enough to keep these babies lookin' good.
It's our big project, getting laid. So ... how you doin'?
At least the threadmaker used the word "newbie". I hate "noob". It makes me feel like I'm the loner in school that everyone likes to beat the shit out of because I have a low IQ.

No no, you meant:
[Joey] So ... how you doin'? [/Joey]
"Fine. We're all fine here now. How are you?"
When it comes to superior firepower, we've always got this:It's our big project, getting laid. So ... how you doin'?

At least "noob" isn't "n00b."
And of course the proper response is obvious: fire, and lots of it.
So we're gonna get canceled in 3?
That's horrible. You're right, there's not much Humanity in that guy. This particular rat was a) not in someone's house, and b) was subjected to torture prior to being trodden on.
