House treats a famous soap opera star when he believes the patient has a serious condition even though there's no evidence indicating that's the case. Meanwhile, Wilson and Amber have their first fight.

Wilson and Amber's *first* fight?! I'd think they'd be in four digits by now!

;)

House being a huge soap opera fan should make this episode interesting.

:)

This sounds like a great episode. Frankly, I'm surprised they hadn't done this sooner.

That was an awesome episode.

Great stuff. I'm so in love with Olivia Wilde.

But next week, Cuddy in a naughty school-girl outift? Next week looks really great too.

Loved the whole thing. First Excellent this season, I think.

"Excuse me. I've got something I've got to do before he dials the second 1.":guffaw::guffaw::guffaw:

Fantastic episode. Also about the third one I've managed to catch this year--guess I know how to pick 'em. ;)

Great episode and good to see most of the team together - Chase get off your high horse and go make sure your former boss doesn't get the big boss fired!

Excellent from me too...laughed out so loud at a few points I woke my son up!

Next week is looking like a good one too!

Fantastic episode! It was packed with great jokes, although I was a bit bored with the Wilson plot. Not much of an argument, either.

13 and Cameron, anyone?

Is it just me, or is Lisa Edelstein looking better and better with each episode?

And Cameron.... somehow I am finding her to be more and more annoying. I'm not sure if this is the writers' attempt to give House as good as he's got, but she's changed.

13 ... has her bi-nature ever been brought out in public like that before? By that I mean her saying "I think I dated that girl once" seemed far more forthright than any revelation before. But maybe I missed it earlier.

Much as I dislike the character of Amber, she might have a point about Wilson. It will be interesting to see just how much this affects HIS character.

Speaking of Wilson, Robert Sean Leonard has become such a master of the subtle change in facial expression. That to me is an absolutely irreplaceable acting talent.

Watch it -- that's Captain Kirk's mother you're talking about! ;)

Well, House has been taunting her about it in front of the group (last week he called her 31 instead of 13, and when she questioned it, he said he thought she wouldn't mind because she "went both ways"). So I figure she's just decided to take control of it and make a joke out of it herself. I sincerely doubt she actually thought she had dated the hot soap-opera babe; she was just saying that to toy with the men, play on their fantasies and expectations.

Come to think of it, though, wasn't her bisexuality first brought up in a scene when she was in the MRI room with one of the other Houseketeers? So I don't think she was actually keeping it a secret or anything.

Much as I dislike the character of Amber, she might have a point about Wilson. It will be interesting to see just how much this affects HIS character.

Actually I liked her here. She showed more depth than House gave her credit for. Even though her tendency as a controlling personality might be to take advantage of Wilson's pliability, she recognizes that he'll come to resent her if she does so, and so she's giving ground herself and striving for a more equal, balanced relationship that can work in the long term. That's very wise of her, and I don't think I've ever seen any other regular character on this show handle a relationship so responsibly.

I think she was doing that just to yank on House's chain a bit. ;)

Her being Bi was touched on a few episodes back and House dropped hints he knew, but she's never really came out and said anything. But I'm sure she did the, "I think I dated her once," just to kind of play with House.

And 13 is getting more -worthy every passing episode. And, yes, Cuddy is getting better and better looking too.

Next week:

TVGuide is reporting that Thirteen will finally get a name on this week's episode

I loved the description of the previous episode that came up on the satellite guide - "House discovers that his initial diagnosis may be a bigger problem."

Damn - that sure sounds like EVERY episode!

^

Well, actually...
We saw her name on a folder before the strike. Don't if that's the same name they're going to use or not.

^
Apparently that isn't supposed to be her name. This will be her official first name
