I think that it's supposed to be a way to get people who need to talk .... to be able to talk, possibly relieving some of their pressures. Right before that appeared, there was an ad for a mental health hotline.

I thought it was a Hindu temple maybe...? Esp. given the shape of the doorway.

I think it's just part of their suicide awareness that was key to the episode, like the part at the end for the program to help those contemplating suicide.
