Spoilers Gotham - Season 2

I recognized it was Bruce right away, but the significance escapes me (pun!) - I'm not familiar enough with the Bat Rogues Gallery. Were any or all of the "monsters" established villains?
In some continuities, Bruce has a brother who's existance is covered up for various reasons. The Waynes might have stashed him at Indian Hill.

I'm guessing Evil Bruce is the guy from the first arc of Batman Court of Owls?
How stupid is Bullock for not realizing his partner was replaced/brainwashed? Yeesh.
I wish the Court of Owls used the creepy as hell barn owl masks from the comics. Those look so much better.

People have been arguing that Jerome was seen coming off the bus and that this is him:

???

If you listen when he comes off the bus you can hear what sounds like it might be Jerome's laugh.

They didn't bring back the actor. If that was meant to be Jerome, it's just a double with Jerome's laugh dubbed over it.

We've seen before this season that audiences are very good at seeing what they want to see -- like how many Flash viewers were convinced that John Wesley Shipp was under the Zoom mask when it was actually a stuntman/performance double. Or how they were equally convinced later on that it was Teddy Sears in the "iron mask" (when it was again an anonymous double). In TV and movies, 99% of the time, if you don't see an actor's face on camera, it's not them in the shot, even if it's explicitly meant to be their character. Actors are too busy to spend time shooting a scene that doesn't require their presence, so they have photo doubles to stand in for them.

^^ I'll go with that.

They sure have been working themselves into a froth over who was killed at the end of The Walking Dead....and arguing about their 'evidence'.

So, what was the point of all the advertising for this half-season being ice-themed when Freeze only appeared in four episodes and did nothing to drive the main plot? And why did he become a one dimensional thug after his origin story ended?

What was the point behind upgrading Lucius Fox and Harvey Dent to regular status when they appeared in a handful of episodes combined? That must've been really nice paychecks for them.

Thinking about taking this show off my DVR. Thought about it after season 1 but I stuck with it and it never changed. Feels like a chore to watch the majority of the episodes.

I would guess that even though they series regulars they were probably only signed for a certain number of episodes. By making them regulars Gotham would be take first priority over any other job. I remember that In her first season as a series regular on Person of Interest Amy Acker was only contracted to appear in 11 episodes.

So Gordon gets framed for the murder of one cop and gets sentenced to 40 years at Blackgate. But if he had killed 20 cops, he would've been sent to Arkham where Strange could declare him sane and release him in four weeks?

That to me sums up this show. :D

Not to mention that Gordon's still at large for the two murders he actually did commit, of that gangster in the first episode (which is felony murder rather than self-defense because it happened during and as a result of Gordon's commission of a crime) and Galavan in midseason (which still counts as murder despite Galavan's later resurrection, as discussed here).
