Frakes on Fantasy Island (1978)

Comcast On Demand has added some old shows to their lineup.

Fantasy Island is one of them. I was watching it when Jonathan Frakes appeared. I did a double take. He looks so young (and i thought he looked young beardless in tng)

It was kinda funny seeing him and Ricardo in the same shot.

Kahn/Rourke: "Yeah, Kirk never bothered to check on our progress....I'm kinda glad he didn't.......more dancing girls for me!"

ooooo yes I saw this a few years ago. So young and gangly, with big white teeth and an over brown complexion

Must say he was pretty awkward with his lines, no "red laerts" to call out I guess

^ I don't have any screenshots of that, but I do have one of him in Charlies Angels, which was probably from around the same time. I'll try to hunt it out.

Frakes on Fantasy Island ...hum... sounds more like something I'd be asking for!

He looks like Dirk Benedict there.

He also appeared in an episode of Voyagers! as Charles Lindbergh. The day before his historic solo transatlantic flight, Lindbergh decides to scrub the trip because of bad weather in New York. The voyagers have to convince him to go ahead as planned. Unknown to Lindbergh, the weather will do a 180-degree turn the next day and flying conditions will be fine.
