Also the name was confirmed to be Star Trek: Picard. Supposedly the logo has the "a" in Picard as the Starfleet delta.
Interesting. Well, if any Trek series was ever going to be named after a character, Picard is appropriate. Kind of a boring name though.
I really hope someone got a picture of that if they're not going to release it officially.

)Okay, on a far more serious note, Picard's outfit certainly looks a lot better than any of the civilian clothes seen in TNG or indeed any 24th century show.
Way back in 2009, I desperately wanted Countdown made as a miniseries or something, but at no point did I seriously think it would ever happen. It's mental that we've got a post-Romulus Trek series about Picard coming at the end of the year.

hard to make any judgements based on this, but since this is trekbbs, i am going to anyway. i like the look of it. i am surprised to see uniforms that look so close to what we're used to in the 24th century. picard's costume looks cool too, restrained.

Is it the TOS font or is it the Kelvin movie font, since this is closely related to events from the first movie?
TOS font is italicized, whereas the Kelvin films aren’t.
Why are the words Star Trek in the TOS font instead of the TNG font? Hope this isn't the final design.....
Likely because it’s the more Trek iconic font.
