First off let me thank everyone for reading, commenting, and voting. Last month's challenge was a great idea. I couldn't match that, but I hope this one provides a sufficient challenge.
Since Valentine's Day is about a week away, I thought it might be interesting to have a challenge focus on the idea of love, in any of its forms. So, the challenge is to write a love story. It can be romantic love, familial love, platonic love, or love in some other form or fashion.
The main restriction is that it must take place in a Star Trek universe. It doesn't matter if its the canon universe, Trek Literature, comics, Star Trek Online, or a fan fiction universe. The time frame also doesn't matter.
Word limit is 7000. And the contest will run until 3 March at 11:59 Eastern Standard Time (US). Voting will take place from 4-5 March, with polls closing at 11:59pm Eastern Standard Time on 5 March.
