Favourite George Clooney film?

I'll go with the Ocean's trilogy. They're just fun, goofy movies.

Last week, it would have been a toss up between Oh, Brother... & Ocean's 11 (not the sequels).

But, I watched Up in the Air over the weekend, and that was an awesome movie.

Yeah, it was a hard choice between Oceans 11 and Up in the Air. In the end I went with Oceans just because its such a rewatchable, fun, heist movie.

I have to say, however, I think From Dusk to Dawn should have been on that list before a couple of his art films.

Its a good movie, and I see why he got the Oscar, but its the sort of thing ya only have to watch once, maybe twice.

I beg to differ. I've lost count the number of times I've seen that film. I can't get enough of it.

I watched it the one time, after he got the Oscar, and that was enough for me.

I was about to begin this post with "George Clooney hasn't made a bad film yet..." and then I rememberd Batman & Robin.

The Men Who Stare at Goats was surprisingly awful.

Yes. That movie has approximately two laughs in it and both were in the trailer.

And Bridges was wasted as that knock-off of the Dude.

I think the only films I've seen with Clooney are the horror of a Batman film and another film he had a small cameo in, The Thin Red Line, a WWII film. I've never watched E/R. I live under a rock, I guess. Because I've not really seen his work, I have no opinion.

MICHAEL CLAYTON. I've only seen the film once, but the opening monologue by Wilkinson is still in my mind. Clooney and Swinton are also great. I need to pick it up on Blu-Ray someday.
