There's been several costume changes in comics, of course, although they are often reverted back to an earlier design at some points, for nostalgia purposes or because the new costumes didn't really work out. Some have stuck around longer than others, with ocassional tweaks (For instance, Batman's costume has largely remained unchanged although the ears and bat symbol have undergone several variations). Same with the Fantastic Four, the costumes have rarely changed from the blue jumpsuit introduced in issue #3, although like with Batman there's been some minor changes. Superman's look despite some tweaks to the S shield largely remained the same as well until the new 52.
Of course, there's been several changes in movie adaptations, sometimes because a costume that worked in comics just wouldn't work out on the big screen. I suppose the X-men movies are the biggest example of this, although the Spider-man films (Especially the ASM 2 version) and MCU stick pretty close to the comic looks for the most part.
For example:
Spider-man's black costume has always been fairly popular, and actually seemed more practical for use at night, but was gradually written out, especially with Venom wearing the symbiote version. There's also been a lot of other variations, especially in recent years with Spider-Man joining the Avengers and working at Horizon Labs (Although thankfully, not as goofy as some of the action figures). I think it's one of the better comic book changes.
Although I do think,Wolverine's a bit of a weird one, his first costume was yellow with short ears, but eventually tweaked when he joined the X-men. He had that popular brown costume in the 80s, but then the yellow costume made a comeback after Claremont left. Not sure why this was the case, I suppose to make him more colorful like the other Jim Lee redesigns. The yellow costume continued for quite a while (although it got a brief break in the early 00's due partially to the movie's influence as well as the more serious Grant Morrison approached). But when Claremont returned again and Whedon got an X-book, it returned although with a bit of a redesign and less bright colors.
