Have you considered teaching the students Fountain? It may be a good way to teach them the basics of screenplay format without them having to learn less important nuances like what font to use and where the margins are supposed to be. Plus there are existing free and open source tools that can convert Fountain into a formatted script. And because of their inexperience with Film-type scripts, many wrote passages you should only see in novels, like long sentences explaining what the characters were thinking and elaborate backstories instead of simple indications at the visual stage.
Here's a quick example I whipped up from your description:

Title: Fleshed Out!

EXT. HIGH SCHOOL - DAY
PAN across the campus until TWO SCHOOL GIRLS come into view. They're talking and telling
jokes as they walk home through the campus.
Behind them emerge THREE GHOULS, shambling toward them.
MUSIC CUE: O.S.T. for "Return of the Living Dead"
One of the school girls senses something's wrong, and discovers the ghouls. Right behind
them ANOTHER GHOUL speaks...
ANOTHER GHOUL
(ominously)
Ask not for whom the bell tolls...
Suddenly, multiple ghoul hands grope for the girls. The girls run off,
pursued by a half-dozen undead. The girls are cornered, but then suddenly...
MUSIC CUE: K-Pop song
The girls stop and start dancing to the music. The ghouls stop, confused, then start
dancing as well, though less coordinated.
