Enterprise communicator beep sound

I've been looking for the Enterprise communicator beep (the soft "boo-boop") in MP3 format this afternoon, but I can't find it. Any leads would be appreciated.

The sound when they get a page on their personal communicator, or the door chime sound when someone wants to come in their quarters?

The page sound that they get when the hand-held communicator has an incoming transmission. I'm going to stick it on my cell phone as the ringer to enhance my nerdiness.

I have the TNG door chime as my text msg noise


If I can somehow manage to get my sound capture program working, I might be able to make the ENT comm noise for ya. Let me know if no other leads come up

I'll dig through the episodes to try and find a clean sample (lots of eps have background music at the same time the comm goes off)

Isn't that the same exact sound as the incoming communication beep for the hand held communicators from TOS?

You know I was going to make one of those at the same time and thought better of it. I'll go back and try to capture a good sample for ya!

Possibly. I can't bring the sound of the TOS beep to mind. Hoshi's console gives a sort of soft "doot, doot"

I couldn't get it any louder than this. If y'all can help me out and tell me an ep where there's a louder sample of her station getting a hail, lemme know and I'll grab it!

Groovy, Pensive - thanks again. That's a tough sound to capture, as the bridge background noise is omnipresent. I think that the incoming transmission sound is the same on the shuttlepods, but that's a whole other set of background noise.
