Dragon-class Heavy cruiser 2170

Hi, Masao. Sweet design for the post-Romulan War/ early-Starfleet era! One question: Are you planning on continuing your Romulan War era ship development, as far as other possible ship classes (Scouts, Destroyer Escorts, Planetary Patrol Ships [pre-Archer/Curran-class craft], etc.) are concerned?
Also, I like how Dan Carlson of Star Trek Minutiae has adopted your ship designs into his 'History of the Romulan War' section. 'MorbiusXX' has also done well mentioning your ships in his excellent "Star Trek:Dagger" fan fiction storyline, and I saw Vintage Starships II had your ships included in their Earth/pre-Fed section for FASA's The Romulan War gaming specs. Keep up the awesome work, I love it!:beer:

I'm not planning to add any more ships to the Romulan War wing, at least for now.

I don't think Daedalus is so bad, other than those nacelle strusts through the neck. The ship's a bit scrawny looking, but I dealt with that in one of my articles. Anyway, this ship is on the Daedalus lineage.

Hey Masao! This is a very cool design. It's always nice to see something new from you. I love the interplay of shapes with this one. It's unique yet recognizably Starfleet. I get a bit of brain fart when I see double pylons but I think I do like them. I like the history you gave it too.

Oh, and btw, I'm the one whose crappy sketch was your basis for the Quetzalcoatl. I'm quite proud that something I started as a doodle ended up on the esteemed museum's pages. :techman:

You're the guy I've been trying to find! When you posted your sketches on another board those many years ago, I tried to email you so that I could correctly credit you. But I never got an answer. The only name I had was the one you were posting under at that time ("Capt. Hottie"), which is the credit that appears on the bottom of the Quetzalcoatl page. If you'd like to change the credit, please send me a name or email address and a link to wherever.

You know, it never even occurred to me that you might have wanted to contact me.

Sorry about that. I would have said something if I had had a problem with the credit. I'd have been happy without the credit, frankly. You were the one who really realized the design anyway. So no need to change anything. I like Captain Hottie.

I try to be consciencious about giving credit, since I've been the victim the other way. If you want to remain "Capt Hottie," "Capt Hottie" you shall be!

Thanks again for the sketch.
