Originally a tv series but then became a surprise movie releasing on November. 27th.

After receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, Moana must journey to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she’s ever faced!

Moana is one of the few modern Disney movies that I love so I am undeniably excited!!

The first one had a killer soundtrack. IMHO, it has better songs than Frozen, and you get to learn a little bit of history in the process.

Loved the first movie and really excited for this. Hopefully the music is similar to the first movie even with different people doing it, I like a good Disney animated musical but Wish was just garbage (in general, but especially the music).

Looks great! I'm happy that they brought back the Kakamora, they were one of my favorite parts of the first movie.

I liked the trailer a lot, outside of Moana's kid sister (hopefully she's not in a main character role in the film). The animation looks as good as the first movie, now we'll just have to see if the story and music match the standards set by the first film.

One of my favorite parts as well. Be curious to see what they do and the new threat.

OK, gotta admit.... Did not think I would get excited for a sequel. Maybe because growing up, all the Disney sequels were always these bad, straight to video movies that never lived up. I still think of those when I think of a Disney sequel.
This one really looks like a lot of fun. I was very surprised and totally loved the first one, so I might actually try and catch this in cinema's.

Yeah, same here. That was Disney at a low point. I like Moana better than Frozen, but I was wary when I heard the sequel was originally going to be a TV series.

The sequels were always a mixed bag. Things like Cinderella 2 and Mulan 2 were really dark. On the other hand, I really enjoyed Aladdin 3, Lady and the Tramp 2, and Fox and the Hound 2 is freaking hilarious. Highly recommended.

Incredibles 2 was ok. Hoping Moana 2 knocks it out of the park.

I also really like the Aladdin trilogy, Lady and the Tramp 2 (more than the original), and The Little Mermaid 2. Ralph Breaks The Internet is really good too!

Moana is a million times better than Frozen!

My main problem with most Disney animated sequels is that they lack a good hook storywise.

My favourite part is the bit with all the Disney princesses. That was a crossover that actually worked.

Their last couple big sequels, Ralph Breaks the Internet and Frozen 2 were both good, and a kid I was also a big fan of The Rescuers Down Under. Looking over the list on Wikipedia, it turns those three are the only sequels they've released in theaters.
