Delta's Most Evil Species

Photon

Commodore
Commodore
(aside from the Borg)
So many choices, but I'm goin' w/the Vidiians. Stealing body parts AND keeping other species to harvest them is worst, IMHO, than assmilating them.

What about the Krenim and their effed-up time ship? Erradicating thousands of worlds from history... way worse than stealing the proverbial pound of flesh here and there.

You do have a point. I think of Durst having his face harvested so Belanna's captor could flirt with her more effectively.

What about those dicks from "Counterpoint?" SO arrogant.

I will go for the Vidiians as they knew what they were doing was immoral.

The Borg on the other hand believed that they were improving the galaxy by assimilating them.

Species 8472 only acted like they did because they had been invaded and saw our universe as being a terible threat.

I'd have to go with the Vidiian's as the most evil species, they knew what they were doing was wrong.

8472 where from fluidic space and not the Delta Quadrant so they can't be included.

The Borg didn't see assimilation and anhiliation of other races as wrong, they believed they where helping that race and their own achieve perfection.

I'll take this to mean the most significant evil species in the DQ. I think it's a close call between the Krenim and the Devore. I have to give the Vidiians a pass because of their desperate situation.

Beyond a doubt the Vidiians. Harvesting other species organs and leaving them to die is just plain creepy.

I need my memory refreshed ... was it standard policy to take enough organs to force another to die, or did they -- except under extreme duress -- limit themselves to tissue that would regrow, or organs for which there was a redundant duplicate, or the like? Not that it's pleasant or won't have repercussions for the victims, but stealing one kidney out of life-or-death need is a more forgivable thing than stealing two.

(Granted they left Neelix to die, but then it was important that the audience have some reason to like them.)

Having a tough time deciding between the Krenim & Vidiians...

I'm going to go with the Vidiians, because who knows how many of the Krenim actually knew what was going on... I hate to condemn them all for the acts of one ship (even though that one ship was more deadly than the entire Vidiian species).

I'd go with malon, polluting a region sickening its inhabitants with their waste while their homeworld is clean, gleaming and beautiful.

I say The Borg;
mainly because, whats better? becoming a drone or losing a few organs? (remember on one VOY epsode, the 3 linked drones? The Capt had a choice of seperating them, but then they die or keep them linked and they live. The Capt picked the seperation path. If meaning seperation means so much 2 the former drones, even 2 die... I would NEVER pick drone over a few organs)
