Crank 2: High Voltage promo - Jason Statham, Amy Smart... Corey Haim??

Re: Crank 2: High Voltage promo - Jason Statham, Amy Smart... Corey Ha

no, that's even MORE nutso than the first...

Re: Crank 2: High Voltage promo - Jason Statham, Amy Smart... Corey Ha

The first one was so bad I could taste it!

I hope this one is ever worse. I'll LOVE it!

Re: Crank 2: High Voltage promo - Jason Statham, Amy Smart... Corey Ha

Sweet Hey-Zeus.

They somehow managed to make a film more extreme than the first, judging by this trailer. Is that worth commendation or condemnation? We'll see. :p

Re: Crank 2: High Voltage promo - Jason Statham, Amy Smart... Corey Ha

Can't wait. And look, Jenna Haze is in it. Sweet.

Re: Crank 2: High Voltage promo - Jason Statham, Amy Smart... Corey Ha

I want this movie to be killed with fire.
Lemme guess, it'll be Statham walking in that way he does looking constipated for 90 minutes.

Re: Crank 2: High Voltage promo - Jason Statham, Amy Smart... Corey Ha

This just may be the greatest movie of all time. Humanity's achievement has officially reached its pinnacle.

Re: Crank 2: High Voltage promo - Jason Statham, Amy Smart... Corey Ha

Damn it looks dumb. And man it should be a fun ride (just like the first one). ;)

So says the guy with King Constipated for an Avatar.

I think Statham is awesome. Even if some of his movies are shit, I find him always enjoyable to watch. His intensity and balls-to-the-wall attitude is magnificent.

Re: Crank 2: High Voltage promo - Jason Statham, Amy Smart... Corey Ha

I've been on a Statham kick in my Netflix queue.
In the past two weeks I've seen.
Transporter 1&2 and the Bank Job and earlier this year I saw Death Race.
Next up in my queue is Crank, War and then In the Name of the King.
Over the weekend I'm going to catch Transporter 3.

I couldn't view the trailer due to tech issues. Anyone got a link to it elsewhere?

If you've never seen them, I'd also recommend "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" as well as "Mean Machine" which stars the great Vinnie Jones. In it, Statham plays an awesome character named Monk who's a bit of a crazy psycho who doesn't talk much but likes to beat the crap out of people. It's a soccer remake of "The Longest Yard" but is quite funny.

I have not seen LS&TSB since it came out and may have to rewatch it to see if I view Statham in a new light in it. However I am not familiar with Mean Machine. Was that released theatrically? At any rate I'll pop over to Netflix and add it to the list.

Best two words in that 41sec clip: Pole Dancing!

Here's the trailer you'll see in front of movies:

Crank 2: High Voltage

Looks like John de Lancie is also in this movie. And "Pedro" from Napoleon Dynamite is back as a completely different character.

^^^^
Wow. So this gets a wide theatrical release and Chaos didn't?
It looks like it'll be every bit as brain numbingly fun and silly a ride as the first but really how, if at all, do they explain his spine not shattering??

Re: Crank 2: High Voltage promo - Jason Statham, Amy Smart... Corey Ha

Ah Crank...Pure crap but sort of fun.

Anyway, all I needed to hear was Amy Smart-stripper.:p
I'll rent the dvd when it's available...

I gotta be honest.. I hated Crank... I couldn't really even enjoy it as a dumb action movie or a brainless fun ride... I really loathed and detested it.

In fact, of the 310 movies I've seen in the last three years, Crank was my 301st-favorite.

In case you're curious, my bottom 10:

301. Crank (2006)
302. The Incredible Petrified World (1958)
303. Funny Money (2006)
304. National Lampoon's Van Wilder: The Rise of Taj (2006)
305. National Lampoon's Pucked (2007)
306. National Lampoon's Dorm Daze 2: College @ Sea (2006)
307. A Midsummer Night's Dream (1999)
308. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation 2: Cousin Eddie's Island Adventure (2003)
309. National Lampoon's Pledge This! (2006)
310. National Lampoon's Adam and Eve (2004)

Bless National Lampoon - without them where would we get shitty direct-to-DVD comedies?

Cranks quality aside for a second(which I don't dispute), do you really have a running tab on the movies you've seen for a 3yr stretch??

I keep track of all the movies & tv shows I watch, books that I read, and music that I listen to, with notes for future reference.
