Could the writers Strike make it more likely to be picked by Netflix

Could the writers & actor strikes make it more likely to be picked by Netflix?

I mean if the strikes last till October Netflix, Apple, Prime, Peacock, Disney, they will all be thirsty for content. Toons aren't effected by the Strikes, seperate union.

Thoughts?

Only certain animated shows weren't affected by the writers strike, depending on whether their writers were with WGA or TAG. While Lower Decks is TAG, I think Prodigy actually was WGA and thus their writers are on strike. Regardless, the actors strike does in fact impact the entire industry, even animation. Which isn't really relevant for Prodigy since I think it is just last minute stuff being done to the episodes which doesn't require the presence of writers or actors.

Regardless, I suppose the strikes does make it even more likely someone will pick up Prodigy as it has the benefit of being new content.

Prodigy is also TAG.

Oh, I just remember seeing images of the Prodigy writers on the picket lines in the first weeks after the strike started. I guess that was just a solidarity thing, like the actors who were seen on the picket lines with the writers before SAG went on strike?

Its already been written, and voice actors have already said there lines ( short of any reshoot/pickups) So its just in Post with VFX artists ( which sadly are not union) and whichever directors are in charge of editing. So good chance it will be finished, and be released somewhere, Shows and seasons have already been impacted, so happily/sadly, this will up the chance of a pick up since its almost complete 20 episode season.
