When it comes to traditional Person vs Person combat, it usually comes down to a few things:
- "Energy Blasters" of some form
- "Kinetic Projectile Launchers" of some form
- "Melee Weapons" used against each other
- "Un-Armed Combat"
But you know what's one alternative that isn't explored much? "Chemical Weaponry!"
We all know of the Off-Switch Hypo-Spray that is popularly used to incapacitate a target.
But what if there were many other forms of "Chemical Weapons" that could be explored?
Chemicals are very versatile & can be tailored for the target or be a general use weapon.
There are many types of delivery methods:
+ Liquid Injector: HypoSpray
+ Paint Ball Guns: Seal the Liquid Chemical in the form of Transparent Balls filled with target chemicals as the delivery mechanism
+ Squirt Blasters: Directly fire the Liquid at the target
+ Gel Squirt Pump: Use some form of Pump to squirt Gel at the target
+ Aerosol Sprayer: Emit the Chemical in the form of an Aerosol upon the target
+ Liquid Balloons: Throw the Balloon filled Chemical on the target as it splashes.
Given that there are so many delivery platforms, there are plenty of nasty Chemicals you can fill as the payload / warhead.
Anybody with a Chemistry degree & a decent understanding of Biology can come up with some very nasty stuff.
I'm surprised it isn't approached as a alternative weapon to surprise a target since most people would be scanning for traditional weapons & alternative Chemical Weapons could easily slip by.
