I watched Cheers with my uncle growing up, and saw some reruns during my late teens as well; I still think its pretty funny. I actually bought the complete series Blu-Ray set last year, but I've been really lazy with my TV in general as of late, so I haven't watched it yet. I do remember Ted Danson, Shelly Long, and later Kirstie Alley being completely hilarious, and was truly saddened when Kirstie passed away.

I don't think Cheers has aged particularly well.

Whaaaaaat....? I rewatched it last year and enjoyed every minute of it. In fact I kinda want to rewatch it again already ..

I've never seen an episode of Cheers but I have been to the Bull & Finch pub in Boston (which the Cheers bar is - LOOSELY - based on, and used for exterior shots).

The real bar is about 1/10th the size of the one on the show.
