By the way, second most watched Super Bowl at 95.4 million average viewers
compared to last years 97.4 million. Peak viewership was apparently at the
point Larry Fitzgerald(I am spelling it right, right?) ran in the 64 yard TD, at
that point there was over 100 million viewers. Some good exposure for the
Cards.

It seems the majority of sportswriters agree - as do I - that this wasn't exactly a well officiated game. But they also seem to be saying that it wasn't unfairly so. Don't denigrate the Cardinals tremendous performance by giving all of this "credit" to the referees. After all, there were plenty of calls / non-calls that DID go their way.


I saw that on the game being the second most-watched SB ever, earlier this week. Apparently though... NFL.com reports that Nielsen says it's now THE most watched ever.
