I'm watching Cadillac Man here on TV.

Funny, funny movie and proably one of Robin William's better performances.

Anyone else seen it?

What do you think?

That it was inane. Sorry-I've seen Robin Williams do better. Go watch, The World According To Garp or Good Will Hunting-much better performances.

Oh I agree, it's not his *best* performance. Hell we can toss "Good Morning Vietnam!" in the ring. But I think it's one of his "better" performances where he's not playing to farcical of a character. Were watching the story shifty womanizing adulterer of a man who ends up being a hero at the end and reconnecting with his divorced family.

I think it's an interesting, funny movie that works nicely as a "character study" which are the more interesting types of stories to me. To meet a character who's the opposite of what we'd expect of a "hero" and have them turn out to be a hero. I mean, who'd of thought that this shifty car dealer Joey O'Brien would turn out to be one of the city's best hostage negotiatiors?
