It's an amazing game but the content is light.
5 hours to play through everything, 10 hours to get good at a single role, maybe 20 to be good at all of them.
Within 40 hours you're relatively bored.
At which point you need to be a treky to still enjoy it.
Personally I love every moment of it, so I don't mind being bored. It some ways it feels kind of realistic.
I'd be super interested if we could get something going in terms of an active community.
My biggest headache with the game is finding people who want to up the anti and make things more challenging.
Most missions can be beat by simply taking on a ton of hull damage.
I'd big on making up scenarios to make things more challenging.
I.e. if you go below 80 percent hull damage you fail the mission.
you can't use phasers and must rely on torpedos.
you aren't allowed to kill the enemy instead you must neutralize them.
Alternatively you must complete blank number of missions in a set period of time.
