Big Brother 10

Dan has been the best player in this game and deserves to win. Out of all the seasons I've watched I think Dan might have played the best of any player.

I'd vote for Keesha to win the $25 000 just because it would piss April off.

Memphis SLAUGHTERED Jerry!

And, thanks, Show for showing me Jerry peeling off his pants and standing there in his tightie-whities! Between that and seeing the Sumo wrestler's taint the other night I have to remember not to watch this show after/while eating.

I think CBS hates Jerry.

Every season BB picks a house guest to completely strip of all dignity. This season, Jerry was that house guest. Last season was "Matty can I get a back rub" Natalie. And the season before that was "I could be a model" Amber.

This victim has just been especially hard to watch because usually the elderly are treated with some shred of respect. Not that Jerry made it all that hard for the editors to rip apart. But that's probably why he was cast.

So the renegades did it. In regards to Dan, I will admit his game-play has improved over the past couple weeks. But he is by no means a Dr. Will. Hell, he isn't even a Mike Boogie.

I think the reason some viewers might be under the impression Dan has done such a good job, is simply because the others house guests have been so terrible in comparison. Brian, Memphis and Keesha admitted they hadn't even watched BB before! Not until they were given DVDs of previous seasons to study shortly before being cast. This season has not produced strong players. If Danny Boy had been in BB8, Evel Dick would have ripped him apart.

Now the fun part ~ Guessing how the jury will vote. Things have obviously changed since the last time I guessed, so Dan might have a couple more votes in his corner.

Votes for Memphis to win:

April
Ollie
Jerry

Votes for Dan to win:

Keesha
Renny
Libra

Michelle is the one I'm not sure about. The trip may have won her over. Or she may still want to "cause physical harm to him." Either way she could be the deciding vote. We'll see....

Yeah, you might have a point about relative competition this season not being very high. I haven't seen every season of BB but I have seen BB8 and I don't think Dick was all that good as a player. Without America's Player he would have been evicted.

Tonight's show was so hillariously contrived.

I mean, it was like those episodes of old sitcoms where the characters would sit around and talk about old times to drive the clips.

BB must've told them with their dinner what rooms to go into and what conversations to have in order to help them set-up the clips.

And the WINNER of BB10 is..........

......not yet announced! But tonight is the final episode of the season. I wanted to thank all of you who contributed to the BB10 thread!

Trekker4747, WHF, brian, Mr. Adventure, Spot's Meow, Peacemaker, Keith1701, Kitkat, tenmei, and the rest.

It's been a fun season, and even more fun discussing it with all of you. Here's hoping we get a Big Brother 11 next summer! :techman:

I'm sure we will, Big Brother anymore is a Summer staple.

As I said earlier I wanted Keesha to win the $25 000 just to piss off April. I wonder how many people who voted felt that way.

I'm Surprised Dan won unanimously. I thought at least April and Ollie would vote for Memphis.

Well this was a nice season. Finally there was a final two that I could be happy with. I didn't really mind either of them winning, and it was nice seeing Dan win it. And nice seeing Steven rip on Jerry for a little bit. And nice seeing Keesha get the prize at the end. I wanted Renny or Michelle to get it, but Keesha is okay as well. I'm a little shocked that Jerry apparently came in a close second place. Really? I thought we had all agreed that he was a clueless jerk by this point.

I thought this was one of the best finales. Julie had some good questions to ask the previous houseguests (the ones not on the jury), and they had some great answers. In past seasons they would give some irrelevant observations that didn't really get to the interesting points of what we saw on TV. But they touched on some good stuff tonight. It would have been nice to hear Angie talk, but oh well.

Overall a good season.

I have to go rewatch my recording to see April's face when Keesha wins the dough. I totally forgot to pay attention to that, lol. I really wanted Renny to win it, though. And PO'd that Jerry was even in the running, that turd.

I loved it when the show had a video package all ready to go to show what an ass Jerry has been. (They didn't give any other HG that "honor", lol.) How dare he say that Dan was arrogant after a win because he threw his card, when he was running around screaming "screw you guys" after Michelle won? What a hypocritical asshole. And he didn't answer the question about his behavior, he only paid his "Judas" remark lipservice.

I got worried when April made the remark that she thought Memphis made a better speech. WTF was she watching, anyway? That made me think they were all going to vote based on personal sour grapes. It's all in the editing, I suppose.

LOL that Angie didn't even get to speak.

WTG, Dan!!!!!!! I think when the jury goes back and watches the tapes, they will realize that they made the best choice.

This has been my favorite season in a LONG time, maybe since the original Dr. Will season.

I didn't see April's face when it happened, but I did see Michelle's. She looked completely taken aback and surprised. I guess she thought Keesha wouldn't be popular.

Or Michelle thought she herself would win the $25K. Some of these people cast themselves as the heroes of their own lives and think that everyone will think as highly of them as they do. Sadly mistaken, they are, lol.

Like when Michelle said the two evil people were still left in the house. No honey, you're one of them and the other one is sitting right next to you, lmao.

It reminds me of the Janelle season (not All-Stars), where there was that big group centered around Cappy (ugh I hate that name) that would actually go around talking about how much they were loved by America and how the other group was pure evil and they were just sure that America hated them. They even turned it religious and started saying they were the good, righteous people and the other group would go to Hell. How can people be so full of themselves?

I thought we had all agreed that [Jerry] was a clueless jerk by this point.

Those of us who've seen the Live Feeds and After Dark, sure, we know what a jerk Jerry was. The Masses though who's only exposure to Big Brother was the network episodes (which I suspect makes up the most of the audience) saw him as he was presented there, which was mostly as just a kindly old man.

I actually haven't had the feeds or After Dark since the first week of the show, so I've only been watching CBS episodes, and I still thought Jerry came off really awful on the show. I have a lot of family that watch the show and they are all disgusted by him as well.

I can't believe Jerry was #2 in the Favorite Juror vote. I guess it goes to show how the CBS edited shows gave such a misperception of him.

Personally, I would have given it to Renny. She annoyed me from the onset, but over time she really grew on me. I wound up finding her incredibly funny and possessing of a kind heart.
