Best episode of the season IMO.
Yep! It would have been nice to see him date just like Amy is doing. Especially because that girl actually liked the things he likes. Oh well.

Apparently some of the cast took to Twitter so it wasn't really going to be kept a secret. Not something this big anyways.
Just an FYI: The network (CBS) and the producers let the info out. The cast didn't say anything about it until it was made public.

Poor Amy. That was sad...but that bit with Leonard in the orange nightie was hilarious!
It was even more hilarious when everyone walked in on them. I bet they were all thinking how weird Penny and Leonard's sex life must be!
The writers must've forgot that Penny threw Leonard a surprise birthday party a few years ago (when Howard ate the peanut candy as a sacrifice and blew up).
It took me a while to remember that. Lazy writing at it's finest.

In the previous ep they probably mentioned Lenoard's birthday was on the Saturday or whatever and she never paid much attention to the date.
Felt sorry for Amy at the end but I can also see where Sheldon's coming from. It hurt him when they broke up, was hard to get over it and doesn't want to go through that again.
Pretty much it.. we know that Sheldon has not treated her well and she was justified in breaking up but Sheldon (as any person) doesn't have a switch that you can use whenever you like to do what you want.
However this being a sitcom they will end up together and they will get married but it'll be a long (and probably funny) road until then.
I liked this episode very much, everybody got something to do and Bernadette killed in this episode.. i couldn't stop laughing
