Arrowverse's Crisis on Infinite Earths to be 5-Part Crossover

The first nominally Legends episode to air will be the Crisis one, but the proper season premiere will be after Crisis.

^ Because airdate doesn't automatically equal in-universe chronology.

Legends could very easily air its season premiere before the conclusion of CoIE if said premiere leads into the Legends installment of CoIE from an in-universe narrative standpoint.

In my postulated scenario, Legends would bring The CW out of its holiday hiatus, with Arrow returning from hiatus with its CoIE installment on the 14th as the lead-in to Legends.

Where was this attitude when you flipped out that Legends "broke time" a few seasons ago? :p

There's a difference between the scenario I'm postulating and what happened with the second season of Legends, where you had 3 series airing simultaneously and that were supposed to be concurrently interconnected from an in-universe narrative perspective yet also had one of said series do something, in terms of its narrative, that could not be reconciled with what was happening, narratively, on the other series.

In the scenario I'm postulating, the events of the Legends Season 5 premiere would be taking place contemporaneously with, yet separate to, the events of CoIE as it relates to Supergirl, Batwoman, The Flash, and Arrow and lead into the events of the Legends installlment of CoIE.

I know, right? Wasn't it the end of the Arrowverse as we knew it as there is no way they could ever tell a coherent storyline again?

Again, there's a difference between the scenario I'm postulating and what happened with the second season of Legends.

Or, to put it another way, what Legends Season 2 did would be akin to concurrently airing episodes of Star Trek Deep Space Nine decimating the Federation whilst concurrently airing episodes of TNG were still telling stories about the Federation operating as if things were business as usual, whereas the scenario I'm postulating is akin to the first 3 episodes of Batwoman taking place concurrently to the first 8 episodes of Arrow Season 7 and The Flash Season 4 despite airing months later.

There is no equivalency.

I've seen several stories on sites like IGN, Io9, and Entertainment Weekly all saying that the Legends premiere will be it's Crisis episode. No offense, but I'm gonna trust them, more than your random guesses.

LOL, role reversal...

I really hope it's a success. I like the premise of the show and see potential, especially with Mia/McNamara.

On a similar note, seeing the picture of JWS and Scott makes me a little sad that Meyer won't be involved somehow.

Funny enough, a few weeks ago, I really didn't care. I've always met BoP with an unapologetic "meh." I saw the pilot and maybe one other episode the short time it was on TV. Then I found the DVDs a few years later in a bargain bin and finished the show, never giving it a second thought. But I've always been a fan of Meyer - she was the one good thing in NEM - and now after seeing Skarsten killing it, I kind of wish they could get full representation of the show, just because.

The Teen Titans Go Vs Teen Titans movie had cute but where they ended up in a comic book universe, and each frame was a different panel

Is anyone else hoping for a Captain Carrot reference, even as an Easter Egg joke or throw away sarcastic remark from Cisco? "What's next? An Earth where we're all talking cartoon animals?"
I totally am...and if they come up with something...even a post credit or on the web scene with Earth C- and Earth TTG! Or some other animation...that would show how much they respect all the fans!
