Ant-Man: Info, Pics, Rumors, Casting and Details till release

For those interested in such things; the RT watch is upon us now.

71% in the early goings
31 reviews
22 fresh
9 rotten

A long way to go as it'll have around 200 reviews for it's aggregate RT score. 71% is what Jurassic World ended up with for it's critical score and most would consider that an enjoyable fun film.

RT watch: 78%
58 reviews now counted

Since this will be available at many locations for Preview showings starting around 8pm tomorrow night thought it due for an update.

The critic score should really fluctuate a lot tomorrow I'd think.

For reference the other MCU films to date and their RT critic score:
Thor DW: 66%
Hulk: 67%
IM2: 72%
TA.AOU: 74%
Thor: 77%
IM3: 79%
CA.TFA: 79%
CA:TWS: 89%
GotG: 91%
TA: 92%
IM: 94%

Just got back, really enjoyed it. It probably won't blow you away, but it's a very fun MCU adventure. You can definitely feel the Wright scripting in some scenes. Even directed by someone else, his style comes through occasionally.

And both end-credit scenes are sweet.

Glad to hear it was fun!
The Grading thread is now open!

This will be the first Marvel movie since Iron Man 2 that I haven't been able to catch a midnight showing. Tomorrow for sure.

Pretty much my take is well. Loved the cameo by the guy in the parked car (and I don't mean Stan Lee).

My biggest complaint about the movie was that every time Cory Stoll was on camera it just reminded me of how much better he would've been than Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luther

I thought he'd make a good Luthor as well.

The movie didn't quite work for me. Not sure why. All the parts should have added up to a better film.

Me too. How many people will catch that he himself has played Ant-Man too? :)

Who was he? I didn't recognize the name when I read people referring to in the other thread, and I couldn't find anything about him on the Ant-Man page on Wikipedia.

Garrett Morris, who played Ant-Man in an SNL sketch back in the 70s.

The Ant-Man costume wasn't too bad.
