Anovos is Outta Business and Star Trek Fans SOL

Anovos Star Trek uniforms just cost too much anyway. Especially with many better priced alternatives out there that are available now. The two that I have right now, Voyager and First Contact jacket and vest. The Voyager uniform is from Cosermart and is just bang for the buck. They have done plenty of good quality uniforms from TNG to the latest Starfleet uniforms from Picard that would give Anovos a run for their money :lol:The First Contact jacket and vest is from a nameless manufacturer but very decent and I'm impressed by it.

Damm guess I will never get my DS9 baseball Jersey, I've been waiting 2 years for this. I paid on a debit card and am outside the US so I'm guessing I have little to no chance of any form of a refund,

I remember reading some blog article saying the jerseys were being made in Q1 so there may be an outside chance but I'm not going to hold my breath I've been incredibly disappointed for the past 2 years of lack of communication and updates.
 
I couldn’t afford them anyway. I avoid shopping online. I want to see the goods. Bezos hurt stores like he hurts space.

I've also been trying to figure out who & how to contact CBS Consumer Products about this.

What makes me mad is that a good company like UGH! Models that produces things people want gets slapped with C&Ds, but rip-offs get ignored. Insane.

Have you tried sending them an email? Maybe through the new name they are using. They can't just not give the refund. That's robbery.

8 hundred dollars :sigh:, I did what Ryan advised and reported it to my credit card company; I gave them all of my email info from a Reggie S. from Anovos and discuss in detail what I ordered and how long I waited for the item which never came.

The season two Kirk wrap tunic. I was waiting patiently and I didn't mind the cost as long as it was in good quality. It was in this thread I was jaw dropping stunned. With Ryan's advice I took the issue with my credit card company and they're investigating the matter. I believed I was getting it so waited, and waited, and waited, and waited, and...

Is there some sort of complaint line or email you can contact at ViacomCBS Consumer Products division?

Yes they do handle the Star Trek licensing, but there's no real complaint line. There is no one listed under Contacts or Executives on that site. I've been on there several times because I've been wanting to reach out to them for over a year about Anovos. I can't find anyone to contact. The general feedback form they have there leaves no way for them to contact me back. I don't know anyone who knows anyone that works at CBS Consumer Products, so I'm not sure how to go about contacting them.

Still no word from Anovos yet regarding my support ticket.

Wow, that's crazy. That's a LOT of money (you and others here, like @Ryan Thomas Riddle 's Beyond Jacket) to just have flushed down the toilet. I'd like to hope you guys get some sort of reimbursement. I've been scammed before, and PayPal basically reimbursed us the loss almost immediately. I know this is slightly different circumstances (we had rented a beach property that...surprise surprise...didn't exist hahaha), but man...best of luck to all of you who got screwed.
 
^ Thanks. My eyes are messed up and my magnification was going to the right side of the screen automatically. I see that now that you have pointed that out. I'll fill out that form later today, and see if they get back to me.
 
I still haven't heard back from Anovos about my support ticket, and I've checked my spam folder nothing there from them. When I go to their site now, my antivirus says it's a suspicious site. I've been more than patient. I'm going to take some time to choose my words carefully then reach out to CBS. I don't know what else to do.

The suspicious part may simply be their certificate expired.
 
Not a sponsored post, but I've been very impressed with Barclaycard's response to my s75 requests in relation to Anovos. No quibbles, within 48 hours they'd credited me back. I'm guessing their admin person googled it and found the class action suit :lol:

Now if I just hadn't used a debit card for that one purchase like a muppet...


They can't just not give the refund. That's robbery
It's an unpaid civil debt. And when companies fold, individual consumers are normally the last to see anything back.

there's such a huge bespoke clothing industry in Vietnam, I'm surprised someone there hasn't considered catching some of that business.
