Anne Meara, one half of 'Stiller & Meara' and mother of Ben Stiller, dies

Comedy great Anne Meara, the quick-witted half of the comedy team "Stiller & Meara," died at 85 on Saturday, her family said.

I was just watching something with her and then went to Twitter and saw the news.

At least CNN recognized her for "Stiller and Meara." One local paper's headline referred to her only as "Actress Anne Meara, mother of Ben Stiller".

I remember her and Jerry on talk and variety shows, and a successful series of radio commercials for Blue Nun.

I get he's their son, but comedy-wise Ben doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as his parents.
