My head hurts.
The actual line is slightly different, but I agree. It's one of Star Trek's best pieces of dialogue. It had my favorite Spock line (to the Vulcan who cuckolded him): "Ston, she is yours. But after a time you may find that 'having' is not nearly so desirable a sensation as 'wanting.' It is illogical, I know, but so often true." Have truer words every been spoken in Trek?

The line could be characterized as sour grapes, but sometimes in life the grapes really are sour. T'Pring was a bitch.

She was a hot bitch
Always a bonus
Being physically beautiful-looking doesn't preclude the possibility of that woman being cold and treacherous enough that her own personality qualities "uglified" herself. Not all us guys are shallow sex-monsters; I find a cold, black heart in a woman to be just as much of a sexual turn-off as an icepack down the front of my pants.
Let me get this straight
Are you calling me a "shallow sex monster" ?

I don’t remember but he did do the bells when they were in Vulcan. What Greg said - how completely fantastic! Did De Lancie do the fight music? And is there video of this somewhere?
Lolol, nah, I just like to think that some of us guys have enough perception to know the difference between a truly lovely female (like Seven of Nine) and a loathsome female monster (like Dr. Janice Lester). Regardless of exact looks. Hell, now that I think about it, I'd be happy to fuck an attractive Klingon woman who had a lot of personal honor, despite whatever physical injuries humans got from Klingon sex.
