Alternate timeline idea: Tom Paris/B’Elanna Torres/Kes

Tom Paris/B’Elanna Torres/Kes. This idea came out from my recent discussion about an alternate partner for Tom Paris. This, of course, is not really an answer, as it includes Tom/B’Elanna, just expands it.

All three combinations here are quite popular. Tom/B’Elanna is, of course, canon and popular. Tom/Kes is canon in the alternate future and is the second most popular Kes pairings (after Neelix/Kes, and they more often appear in the background of fics, while Tom/Kes, if it appears, is almost always important to the fic). And B’Elanna/Kes is the most popular f/f pairing for Kes.

So, I think it would be nice to combine it into a triangle. Not in the main timeline, obviously. Nor in the Before and After timeline, as B’Elanna is dead there. But maybe in one of the timelines Annorax created. But I also have another idea where it could happen. Mirror universe. More exactly, a timeline in the mirror universe where the original TOS crossover never happened and ISS Voyager was lost in the Delta Quadrant and somehow got stranded anyway. I feel Tom/B’Elanna/Kes could emerge there, and be quite dangerous for the rest of the crew. They certainly would be good allies, and what better way to cement an alliance in that universe? Plus, it may look good.

So, what do you think about this idea and in what alternate timelines it might occurred?

Phlox has two wives and a male Bolian on DS9 has a co-husband.
That's true but I feel like that's a bit different when it all happens offscreen.

The real coupling should have been Paris/Torres/Janeway but with the caveat of Janeway and Paris have joint custody of their salamander babies (maybe they turn them into humans or maybe they just put them in a fishtank, who knows). What's it like for Paris and Janeway to deal with the aftermath of a one night stand they don't remember having? Do they put leashes on the salamander babies and take them on long walks around the ship? Does Neelix cook one of them when rations are low?

Nah, the Doctor gives them a jolt of anti-protons, turning them into adorable children: Amelia, Owen, and Edward.
