Hi all, I posted this in Miscellaneous as well, but was given permission to post it here too. Thank you ahead of time!

So I managed to secure a publication contract for my novel, the same one I'd used for my MFA thesis (Though much changed since then). It's a thriller novel about a group of pro wrestlers who run afoul of some meth dealers in West Virginia in 1997.

I just launched a website for myself (and the book) that I hope some of you might be willing to check out. I'm trying to keep it interesting with regular blog posts that will cover a wide range of topics I'm interested in, from literature to Star Trek to movies to toys...we'll see where it goes, lol.

Any advice on the layout that I may have overlooked would also be greatly appreciated, thank you!
Here is the site:

Thank you again for anyone who drops by!

Big congrats on being published!

I am not qualified to comment on website design, but if I may offer one little point of constructive criticism? The preliminary cover for the book could be improved fairly easily, if even just a typeface and placement tweak.

I'm not saying this alteration (mine on the right) is particularly great. I am a rank amateur. My attempt is undoubtedly also very done-to-death as a style, but it's just an example. :))

That's awesome. You're okay if i use that?
Absolutely. Though I'm sure someone could do a way better version than mine. But please feel free to use it if you like it. :)

Here it is on its own, so you don't have to crop the other one.
