Rumor has it that this film will take place directly after Fast and Furious but before Tokyo Drift.

Oh yeah... that's more respectable.

Actually, The Pacifier is a pretty solid film. It's your basic "fish out of water" film, and it does what it does well, and it's funny.

And it has Lauren Graham.

I prefer it when it was called Kindergarden Cop

I'm not a huge fan of these movies but they're usually okay for a mindless summer movie, still haven't seen 4 though, after the series managed to redeem itself with 3 I didn't want to risk watching it go backwards

I can't see why it has to now. They made the connections in Fast&Furious to TD, no reason to not have this take place post TD.

I think it's because there were some "issues" with the studio and Black. At least I seem to remember reading so. Also, I think Walker might be considered the bigger draw.
