BBC New Drama Trailer (Xmas Clips)

Am I wrong, or is the "Next Doctor" in there once as well? The guy I'm thinking of is at about the 18 second mark and wearing a tuxedo.

I wonder if this will be a take on "The Christmas Carol" as has often been rumored.

Not sure about the one with the Nazis, I think that's Matt's other movie.

some good stuff in that promo, thought it was amusing that 9, 10 & 11 all appeared in it, even if only 11 was in character, for some of the clips.

Funny how they've got Eccleston, Tennant, and Smith all in-house, so to speak. And, so close to 2013? Hmmm..... ;)

(P.S. I'm joking)

I gotta say, that looks like a decent line up of shows regardless of the Who clips.

they really should have at least a Two Doctors in 2013, im sure Tennant will do it, and I hope Smith will still be around then. Ok Eccleston for a Three Doctors would be nice, but he isnt Tennant.

Nice trailer :)

Nobody does drama quite like BBC, now I have to look out for all them series this fall :)

Little fine-tuning and
Scrooge at the end, just before 11 says he's the ghost of Christmas past could pass for the 1st doctor.

The Nazi bits are probably from the bio-drama where Matt Smith's playing Christopher Isherwood, the author of the 1930s set Farewell to Berlin, aka Cabaret.

I wish you weren't. :)

Those clips all look really great. Pity most of it will fail to live up to them (for me at least!) I really don't care for BBC drama.

Accused, the one with Christopher Eccleston in is a daytime drama written by Jimmy McGovern too. They're apparently reinvesting in proper drama during the day and this is the first one.

I've noticed lately I'm watching a lot more British TV than US.
Misfits, Skins, This is England 86, Him & Her, Grandma's House, Sherlock, Merlin, Spooks, Inbetweeners, Law & order UK all come to mind as recent new shows I've been watching, there's a load more I intend to watch. I'm just glad someone is investing in new shows. Glad to hear Channel 4 are reinvesting too. At this point it seems ITV do nothing more than crime drama.

There are clips for two shows with Eccleston, the other is call The Shadow Line.

^Oh I didn't notice that. Looks like Accused has a good cast lined up and writing pedigree, might be worth checking it out.
