Shower scene from "Damage" makes it onto Sci Fi Wire's list

Pretty cool, I must say. :techman:

Sci-fi shower scenes: Video of the 29 sexiest and strangest

[EDIT] Looks like Archer's spectacular fall from "Unexpected" also made the list. I haven't noticed it at first, and I wonder whats so sexy or strange about it. The scene was hilarious, and I'm pretty sure that it wasn't intended to be anything else than that.

[EDIT #2] And yes, I successfully screwed up a thread title (it's SciFi, not Sifi).

So two scenes from Enterprise made the list? Awesome!

Re: Shower scene from "Damage" makes it onto Sifi wire's list

After all these years, the shower with Trip and T'Pol is still fricking hot! Her scenes in "Slow Burn" are bland in comparison.

Chemistry is the key, Jolene and Connor had it...damn shame. I wish these two would act together again.

Congratulations! We have a club for that too.

I can edit the title for you... but as I understand it, it's "SyFy" now. Hell of a way to run a science-fiction channel, but whatever. So which spelling do you prefer?

Unfortunately they also gave us a scene in "The Xindi" that I wish I could wipe from my memory

The channel changed the name to SyFy, but the website kept the old one, so its still Sci Fi Wire, so that would be the spelling of my preference. :techman:

BTW, changing the name and the iconic logo (Saturn) was IMO a ridiculous move. They tried to make it appear less geeky and more cool, so the bad response this got from the internet science fiction communities was understandable.

Yeah, Jolene was kinda creepy in that movie, and Ray Liotta lost his mojo ages ago.

She was meant to be creepy and that was the problem, no mystery at all, obviously playing everyone from the beginning. Liotta was Phoning-It-In and the dialogue was laughable especially LL Cool J's allusions to food! WTF?!

Anyway, creepy or not, Jolene was incredibly hot in "Slow Burn" and at least we got her in a solo shower scene. Also, the same makeup artist was used for Angelina Jolie in "A Mighty Heart."

Strangest? Yes. Sexiest? I think Hal from 2001 singing might be sexier. And that wasn't sexy.

Wow, I made a bet to myself on how long it'd take for The Commodore to chime in- "Wednesday morning, at the latest!" And I was right!

JB with Connor irritates the shit the out of you! I Love IT!!
Comm, the writers were smart enough not to hook up JB with Bakula- he's in good shape but too old for her, he was what, about 48 and she wasn't even thirty yet, it would be ridiculous.

Its all good brother, if the writers paired up T'Pol with that twit Malcolm Reed, that would have sent me over the edge!

And I'm just making a bet to myself on how long it'd take for The Moderator (aka HR) to chime in and brutally kill the seed of yet another shipper war. "Wednesday afternoon (CET) at the latest," put me down for a 100 €

Ah, my good old OCD kicking in again... Lets see, Damage aired in April 2004, meaning Scott would have been 49 going 50, with Blalock just turned 29.

One thing though - looking like Scott at that age... OMG! Gimme some of those vitamins he's been taking!

[EDIT] Nah, this ain't hot at all...

No more of this, joncreed.

"Brutally kill"...? You sound as if you want another shipper war.

Oh please Mom, just one more?! Just Kidding!:guffaw:

Anyway, Jolene is doing an episode of "House" but Connor seems to be MIA.

Nope, doesn't get any hotter, but you left out my favorite shot in the scene; the one where T'Pol goes up on her toes. :(

I'm wondering if JB got on her toes as a necessity or if it was intentional on the director's part to make T'Pol seem more vulnerable? Trip should've picked her up with her legs wrapped around him, but I doubt they could get away with that. Got my picture taken with Jolene back in '05 at the Pasadena Con, she's short- I'm guessing 5'6" tops. Connor looks like a six footer or close.

Connor is 5'11', Jolene is 5'5'', according to celebheights.com.

Damn, I can't remember the last time I've seen something like that on network TV :D

Buffy and Spike did that, and a lot more. During the once-dubbed "family hour," no less.

It was bizarre to see how far Buffy the Vampire Slayer pushed the envelope with regard to sexual explicitness on UPN, while over on Enterprise, the girls still wore bras while making love to their men.

I'd say that was more an issue with the overall prudishness of the Trek producers. For all the catsuits and other "sexy" things they tried to push (though not all of those things were their ideas), it was all pretty tame compared to a lot of other stuff we saw (and continue to see) on network TV.

Wasn't this scene cut by UPN when it first aired? I remembered hearing about it, but not seeing it.
