I buy lots of extra garlic butter dippin' sauces from Papa John's when I go there, so I can dip my made-at-home pizza crusts in it.

I've never been able to make a garlic butter quite the same myself.
Ketchup, mustard, onion rings, a touch of barbecue sauce and either mozzarella or pepperjack cheese (or both if you're daring and like the combination of the two tastes). That's what makes a burger!
Pretty much this. I didn't even know buttering a sandwich was a thing (with the exception of specifically grilled sandwiches, such as grilled cheese and reuben).
You don't put butter in sandwiches. Mayonnaise is the only way. (Or mustard for some recipes.)
I only put butter on toasts with jam, and only when I feel like splurging.

I tend to use mayo only for macaroni salads and don't really use it on sandwiches or burgers.

When I was little, my grandmother would make us toast with butter and sprinkle a little sugar on it, but apart from these examples, I had no idea people buttered their sandwhiches (outside of grilling).
Whatever that is, it looks really good.

I can't stand Miracle Whip. I don't even like non-Hellman's mayo, but can eat it if I have to.
Occasionally I'll be in the mood for Miracle Whip, but it just tastes too unnatural, so I feel uncomfortable eating it.

Mayo and mustard are wonderful together! I've never been a lunchmeat fan, so my favorite sandwich as a kid was mustard, mayo and cheese. This would be in my school lunch almost every day. I think that mayo and mustard blend quite nicely.
I butter the outsides of grilled cheese sandwiches to toast them, but otherwise I don't put butter on sandwiches. If I was having a plain piece of bread or toast I may use butter, but otherwise it becomes unnecessary when you are using other condiments. I never really thought about using it before.
It is delicious, if you like strong flavours. But man, it's definitively not good for public relations.

My two youngest kids have vegemite sandwiches for school every day. My eldest teenager lives off vegemite toast.
But the rule is in my house you must have butter on your bread or toast underneath the vegemite.
When I have toast I always have it with butter and vegemite. My husband being an unAustralian traitor hates the stuff.
