OK... Now for something totally different!

Hopefully, it's recognizable as the Narada. :)

    :)

Here's an update... I hope it will look more formidable once I put some textures on it. I'm not going to do a whole lot of detail, since I plan to use it mainly for distance shots.

    Madman1701A...

Such a beautiful mesh is WAY too tempting for an old compositor like myself, so here is my tribute to your work, with a piece of your work in it. ;)

OK, I did some more work on the Narada...

I'm going to add in a bunch of glowy lights, and some spotlights and things, all different colors.

I know it doesn't look quite like what we see in the movie, but I'm not quite sure how to build it, otherwise. :)

    Right. :)

Say, number #1 thanks for the great new wallpapers, and #2, have you tried the original angle yet? That view with the new shuttle approaching?

    Great work guys!
Do you think those "chin pieces" on the nacelles will be there at the end of the movie? They have just seemed to me, since the first reveal of the ship, to be the kind of add-on tom-foolery that you would do to indicate that this is a ship in an alternate timeline.

I think that they might be. It would look a little odd with the parts up top, but not below. It the change the engines, I would think they would change them almost totally. :)

Perfect! Thanks for the trouble. Those "blue stripes" back along the nacelles actually protrude a little, don't they? From another aft view I thought they looked flush.
